Identification and history
The plant was purchased from Quest Orchids on 5 June 2026. The nursery did not provide a definitive cultivar identification on the invoice. The collector recalls that the plant may have carried a label referring to "Yellow Bird," but this cannot now be verified. The flower morphology is consistent with a Brassia-alliance hybrid; however, the exact grex remains unresolved pending additional evidence.
